*AV* - Time to go out on a limb time. the following list of 8 stocks are the ones I have the most confidence in achieving 50% of more gains this year. the entry prices are listed. In some cases the entry targets are already there while in other cases there needs to be slight retracement to reach the entry target. This does not mean getting in now and making slightly less gains is not an equally prudent thing to do. The exit targets are just those to achieve the goal set out. it doesn't mean that they cannot go higher. In the scheme of things, getting a 50% or better return in 1 year or less is nothing to scoff at, even if you get out early and miss the "rocketship" to the moon. There will be other times and other stocks. We sated that last year and it became true this year. good profits were made for those less greedy and now the prices are near 52 week lows. The list should not be construed as my top 8 picks for 1998. Clearly this is a strategy of "buy at this price" and pit it on autoplilot to sell "at the target".

AEIS(16.875)--in 14 or less, OUT 21 or better (50%)
ADPT(22.75)--in 22 or less, OUT 33 or better (50%)
ALYD(17)--in 17 or less, OUT 25.5 or better (50%)
CYMI(20)--in 18 or less, OUT 31.5 or better (75%)
CIG(22.75)---in 23 or less, OUT 34.5 or better (50%)
IDTI(14.375)--in 13 or less, OUT 20 or better (50%)
IPEC(16.5)--in 16 or less, OUT 24 or better (50%)
PAIR(20.75)--in 19 or less, OUT 27.5 or better (50%)

Present ask is in (). I feel comfortable with the OUT prices so if you get in at any other IN prices, you should be able to calculate potential earnings for these investments. All targets are achievable with the timing left up to you. Good TA could indicate waiting to catch a better entry price and it could also tell you to hold off on the exit. These number are more or less a "stake in the ground".

Pretty good- the disclaimer is almost as long as the message.

CONTEST: See who can find the longest disclaimer for covering one's back relative to liabilities. We will post all the really obtruse, long, confusing disclaimers on a new thread called "THE DISCLAIMER".
We can then, at our leisure refer to it in any post as: Reader assumes responsibility for understanding disclaimers outlined in the SI Disclaimer site. For the keyboard challenged like me, we will refer to it as:
