<<with all the buys going through why dont the mm's just raise the price,>>

The mm's might know about more shares that are to be sold. By selling at the current prices stock that they don't currently have, they would be going short. When the additional shares hit the market, they will cover at much lower prices.

The scenario I just gave is at least as likely as the one you gave. They could be buying the stock now (if you believe ALL the mm's are working in tandem which is illegal)and keeping the price low so they can accumulate, but that would assume both collusion and an illegal act, as I mentioned.

Technically, FTEL would seem a decent buy right now at about $3.75a. However, the warrant conversions could give a buyer more trouble.

Fundamentally, I don't like this company and don't believe they will produce a storm of sales by June 30, 1998, as many expect. Eventually, the price will follow the fundamentals.
