OTOH, it could also be the case that in a world of too much fiat dollars chasing not-yet-enough-TIPS, especially w/ Europe trashed by war, nothing in the paper world makes conventional sense, and therefore resulting in the non-confirmation of TIPS to gold which in turn is suppressed by paper gold. IOW, all price signals are senseless, at worst, or sense-less, at best. The gold buyers are possibly not looking for a trade, but sensing the coming cratering of all paper assets unbacked by objects / commodities of desire, as well as the permanent breakdown of current era monetary-financial plumbing We, in effect, are waiting for … to put in short form … 2026 / 2032.
