I had a moment like that when I was a kid although it was at the right basket. Freshman basketball, rarely played (awkward growth spurt), put in with a big lead, wide open under basket. Ball came closer to the roof than the backboard. Mortifying.

Don't know why women's basketball isn't more popular. Now more trans-men are playing on women's teams it will up their level of competitiveness.
