One ton CO2 emissions per MWh in a coal fired plant. It is reckoned that an average onshore wind turbine rated at 2.5 – 3 megawatts can produce in excess of 6000 MWh every year. So that 115 tons CO2 associated with the concrete is offset within 1 week of operation. Sometimes you hafta break a few eggs to make an omelette. Also they’re looking at using green H2 to fuel concrete plants
