What is a scalp, sil vous plait? I bought SUNW in Oct for 31+ I considered it a long so I ignore its vacillations. Although I will buy more on dips. I intend to study up on TA so as to take advantage of a drop like this, 7 points. Wouldn't it have been grand if I had the sense to sell around 50 and buy back in near it's soon to be bottom. I feel that without TA of some kind you are rudderless without a compass. Is there literature available for your type of TA? I am intimidated by seemingly complex systems. That is not to say that your TA isn't complex. Those stick figures sure are cute! Calvin

Hi Jan,

I'm talking about scalping SUNW on the long side, are you?

Not surprising for SUNW to retest its breakout point at 43ish when it reentered its long-term bull channel. Especially with the Paine Webber downgrade today.

AOL ... market was down 60 points and stock was up 2 1/2 last I checked. Posted that until AOL sells off on heavy volume as the market sells off, the sucker is not ready to come down. I wish Tom all the best on his puts, but darn if he has to do an emotional trade ... why not trade with the trend?
