Among my circle of old buddies, for decades, there was a Dane. A nice guy, an oversized teddy bear - but strong like a real big bear. We called him a Viking. He liked it. Actually, he’s still around, and we talk sometimes, but he moved back to Denmark. I knew the dude through good times, and through periods that weren’t so good - but he and his wife always had enough to afford roaming the world. They have a stronger lust for travel than anyone else I ever knew.
