Funny thing is that Southwest isn't a "crappy airline." They're usually really good with just about everything, from value to customer service to on-time performance to availability of direct flights.

Even now, they're trying very hard to win back business after their fiasco, offering deep discounts on flights.

I should also remark how Southwest, after getting past their issues, were very good about offering a cash refund (not miles or airline credit or something stupid like that).

My wife and I will give them a second chance for sure.
