The end of this game was a master class on stupidity. SF: Botch a pick-6 to end the game, but still force a punt Dallas: Bad clock management on the punt needlessly running the clock way down SF: Calls for fair catch instead of running out the play to get the clock below 2:00 rather than stopped at 2:05. They do complete a pass to get under 2:00 on the next play. SF: Get another first down but runner goes out of bounds instead of sliding, else game over. Forced to punt. Dal: Fair catches punt on 5 rather than see if it bounces into the endzone for placement on the 25. SF: Fails to get the safety that would have ended the game. Dal: Pass receiver fails to get out of bounds after the catch. Dal: Same receiver then nonchalants a catch and fails to stay in bounds, nullifying the catch. - Jeff
