They are a likable group and close-knit.

I hope the Eagles destroy the 49ers but don't take it for granted. It would be nice if they can get to Purdy early and rattle him much they did Jones. But the 49ers have far more explosive playmakers than the Giants. And their defense is better than the Giants. If the Eagles play like they did on Saturday then they can beat anyone imo, even if Hurts is not 100%.

Their first loss against Washington might be the best template on how to beat the eagles. The stats don't look impressive but Washington ran the ball a lot and had a huge advantage on time of possession while the Eagles offense sputtered with a lot of three and outs so eventually the defense got tired. The Eagles run defense has improved a bit since then but CMC and Mitchell are a good combination plus Samuel and Aiyuk can run and be effective on gadget plays. I certainly am biased and expect the Eagles to win but not in a blowout and rarely can I forecast that in the NFL, especially come playoffs.
