I reduced holdings for some of my value plays this morning as I don't believe this market run up to be healthy.

This means you need to pay taxes on all your winners, right?

Hard to make all these one day trading decisions and ignore taxes.

I try not to let the up moves scare me out of undervalued positions.

Looking over my portfolio of stocks that have either hit new highs today or have moved up the most percentage-wise today, I've made no sales of these.

Sold a tad of my few shares of HOLX. Lost some confidence there as stock has moved up.

Added to airline ALGT; also a little more to some oil/gas and coal stocks.

I am not a market timer, if i believe a stock is approaching fair value and I own it in a taxable account I might sell a call against it if I own it in a taxable account. that is what I have been doing with some of my OXY lately. my tax basis for those shares is about $10 so I may never sell them outright. If you know a successful market timer let me know who it is. Yesterday iI watched Cramer doing some technical analysis of gold and my emotions waivered between amusement and disgust.
