Wharfie, we will know for sure if the reports of Vagner activity die down. Right now, the going assumption is that Vagner continues to push for Bakhmut. In theory, they could do it even if they ran out of convicts to throw into the meat grinder, since there are a lot of mobilized cannon fodder to send as well. But due to the rivalry between the Vagner thugs and the RuZZian ministry of defense, it is unlikely that the MoD will want to throw away their warm bodies just so Master Chef Prigozhin can take all the credit.
