What the big deal, Broken Cuck? I've always said that "gain of function" research isn't necessarily evil. Humanity would benefit a great deal if we could better understand how viruses mutate. It'd be nice if we could simulate this all with computers, but to date we just don't have a good model for said mutations. Trying to get ahead of the curve is fine by me.
