Well, I'd say that (albeit TTM) operating margin falling 50 % in 2 quarters is indeed news, and important news too. ;-) However, I don't see that trend continuing for long. But WTHDIK, I had too google what "fabs" is; you guys have abbreviations for the components of semiconductors...? Wow, you're technical – I hardly even know what semiconducturs is! :'D

I have a Dell for work, with Intel processor. It's pretty shite and what's more, I'm told it's surprisingly expensive too. :I

I guess that a real risk w/ Intel is that if MSFT should announce one day that they're switching to AMD (unlikely, I guess, but possible), that could really pull the rug from under INTC's feet forever. They're not totally in control of their own destiny, and that's never good. Especially not if you're very dependent on a single co., and that relationship is not in a state of "equal symbiosis", but rather somewhat parasitical.
