My average cost is $275 a share, but mainly it's because I really admire their operations, management and shareholder friendliness. They seemed to have differentiated themselves in the marketplace, in what one could view a "commodity" business. Plus they always seem to deliver the best numbers, compared against their competitors. But yes, they are rarely "cheap" and I had been watching them for several years before I decided to establish a core position in 2022. finance.yahoo.com
