TJ that looks like a taunt = Ben Hodges describing how to conquer Crimea. I do have lots of response but am having a nice pot of tea while catching up with hundreds of posts. I note too Haim's comments on history, ancestry, nationalism, etc, about which I have a lot to write. I did think about your young days in the pig sty accommodation and Jack the Youngest's pool, views, poolside luxury drink, accommodations, jet set lifestyle to exotic islands and everywhere. And of course the interface with and synergy and hybridizing of the Great and Glorious British Empire's Virtuous Victorian Values which have enabled China to go from pig sty and hutong slum with open trench toilets to infinity pools and cash flow success. The last 123 years since 1900 have been the most amazing times. And we're here to know directly about over half of it, with memory of the first half given to us directly from our parents and grandparents. But what the Hell us wrong with most people? 100 years ago Japan had invaded Manchuria and the carnage of WWI had just finished. The next 20 years of horrors were just revving up. The first nuclear war was the end of the worst of it but Rwanda and Yugoslavia were not on the horizon. Now, we're idiiotically re-enacting the early 20th century but with umpty gigatons ready to go MAD with idiot Ben Hodges thinking he's thinking how to conquer Russia and get Crimea. One of my great great grandfathers died from wounds from Crimea. 170 years later Ben still wants to conquer Russia there. Ben Hodges and hordes of others are insane. Not just insane, but actively Evil incarnate. So I'm not taking the bait just now. But herewith brief comment. Mqurice
