Scooter, the company is expacted to lose 13 cents a share this quarter.why is the stock going up? it mades no cents!!if they report ear. of -10 will we be a 60? The market is not setting the value of MU based on the current quarters eps or even the next few. It is looking out much further. Because MU is in a very strong position right now relative to SEA...it just depends on whether the dumping will be discontinued in the l/t and if The IMF decides not to fund DRAM cos. Antidumping case results might be availabe tomorrow. If it is in MU favor expect another rally to occur...again independent of earnings this quarter. Apparently Many believe MU will win their case and this will cause prices to stabilize and go up. Also without IMF funding investors know Korea will not be upgrading b/c of lack of financial support. The Koreans are at a real disadvantage right now without our $US to bail them out. Their loans and raw materials, in $US, are very expensive compared to the devaluated won. I don't know how much longer they can go on. Samsung, their largest co, has very little equity left in their company and is having a difficult time raising dollars for day to day operations. If you are shorting MU watch it minute to minute b/c MU could jump on little notice once either of these political events go in MU's favor. DavidG
