I have been watching (just eye balling) stocks of graphics cards and CPUs at Micro Center, and I don't think there is an excess inventory of either one.

Speaking of which, AMD has reduced the price of 6950 XT (on AMD.com) to $699 from $799, after selling out 6900 XT, which used to be $699.

In Micro Center, there are also fewer of the 6x00, more of the 6x50 cards, and the pricing is also quite competitive.

I think the inventory problem may be in pre-built PCs and notebooks...

I might end up going with the 6950 XT. From performance perspective, it will likely be in the same ballpark as Navi 32 with similar pricing. I would just like to have the latest, but we will see...
