J: WAY too much grass!
David: can you tell us something about your sales organization (that's my background). In house, or a rep organization? Calling on who? How many in the trenches? Any effort made to place fishing games in fishing departments at Wal-Mart, etc? Any effort directed at specialty retailers like bike stores, golf courses, etc. I've noticed there are a lot of retail stores that are race-fan oriented...selling shirts, models, memorabilia etc. (I've a son who must have 300 model race cars.) I'd think these might be good prospects for sales.
Wayne: It's my hunch that Bass Fishing will do as well this year as last, or better since the product is now a known seller. Chuck in the new products in fishing (in which I include Jr and Lunker), plus the new games (especially Bike and Nascar...I like their looks)...and I think we could give $4.00 a run. I agree completely that solid sales will run well into 1999. Chaz.
