Attacking DeSantis on the vaccine -- which most people thought would work in the beginning -- is not a good strategy. DeSantis was one of the first to open his state back up (after the fed mandated "flatten the curve" period) and did not issue vax mandates. As more information on the vaccine's effects comes out, people's attitudes about it have changed. I don't know what Trump's current stance on the vaccine is, but hitting DeSantis with it might backfire.
