The Right Line Split Report is just another factor causing the psychology of stock splits to feed upon itself. People have an idea that the split is good for the stock price, and then stocks start jumping on split announcements and then in anticipation of split announcements, and eventually you get situations like TXN in October, where the stock crashes after the announcement of the split because there was too much investor excitement about the prospect of a split and there was too much touting prior to the split.
