Jay, re: "What a difference a few days make. Now we have positive price action and impressive volume. Could SNDK participate in what looks to be a 'February Effect' for the market?"

As I read and watch the tube, I have noticed that Kodak is far too busy advertising their "Advantix" (film-based) systems to spent even $1 on their filmless cameras. There was a long article about this some months ago but basically Kodak is determined to try to sell this c**p to an unwilling public -- no matter what. So much for the "February effect".

Only when Kodak finally realizes that nobody cares about their "not renamed because we want to try again" Advantix products will they graduate to a generation where SNDK can benefit. Given the typical pace at Kodak, that may take some time.

I am long SNDK. I would short Kodak -- except that I figure anyone worth his salt has already done so.

Craig

PS Don't forget Seagate. They own ~25% of SNDK and that holding is increasingly more valuable as their Asian problems play out. I wouldn't suggest buying SEG but rather remind that their 25% could generate its own "effect".
