Since when the IMF is again a respected institution - was thinking that the 1987 crash showed the "nakedness" of the IMF in public and probably before I understood a thing about financial markets. . As a venue of investment gold is a commodity and there are many more metal commodities that do not lose their inherent weight if properly stored. Presently commodities are on a roller coaster almost all of them thanks to your friends at the Kremlin <GGGG> and other nuts that cannot differentiate between electricity produced by coal or NG and the charging your battery powered car, of cannot calculate the GHG emissions for mining melting building and erecting a wind turbine with unsteady electricity delivery.
