Doug, I agree. Tomorrow is Friday and that will shake out the profit takers. Already saw a 21 tick 5000 share trade aftermarket earlier tonight.

About the buyout talk, I can't see it unless they are selling off one of the products maybe. Don't know if they can do that.

Doug,
I do not agree, the stock was moved today by GSCO. They know something and that is all there is to it. The momentum traders were there today but it was the MM that made this go. The momentum traders were responsible for the slide into the 16's and they will carry this above 30 when we finally find out who knew what today.
Only my opinion derived from watching Level II all day on this baby. At the end of the day GSCO was sucking up all the daytraders shares on the Bid who were taking their profits. They could not get enough shares today period.

Doug, I have been watching something very interesting developing in most tech stocks over the past few days. It's a total TA mind-f***.

Many stocks are at oversold levels on the fast stochastic, which at the same time looking like they are about to cross-over to the downside on the MACD. This has caused me to hesitate, as I'm sure many other investors have.

The MACD just "kisses" the signal line, then WHAM - an explosion to the upside.

You have really got to wait for a MACD signal in this environment, and I'm not sure that I would trust one even then. You can NOT anticipate, which you could get away with over the past few months until recently.

I still think that we are in a period of uncertainty and it's best to sit things out. I'm not quite sure what to make of the market continuing to move up in the face of imminent action on Iraq, which will almost cetainly cause a short-term negative reaction in the market.

Maybe the market knows something that Military Intelligence (the ultimate misnomer...) doesn't. ;)
