[appain vs colorgraphic]
thats really a tough question. i wouldnt decide only on the RDRAM/SGRAM feature ( both technologies seems to be very fast)
my key criteria are

1. refresh rate for a given resolution
it is obvious that you can drive the colorgraphic card at a higher refresh rate for a given resolution. whether this is an issue depends on the resolution you are using on each monitor. i guess if you are running a 1024x768 its not that important.
2. the software driver for the card
finally i found the description of the utility available by colorgraphic, they call it 'Mover':

colorgfx.com

the best is to download the utility and read the help. this is what i've found out:
'mover' allows placement control of 're-sizable application windows'. placement can be based on cursor position or by a monitor prompt (sounds good).
'mover' prevents dialog window splitting (if enabled)
'mover' maximizes applications to a single screen

to check for physical monitor configuration (is it possible to arrange 4 monitors in a row?, the pics at the colorgraphic site show only a cube configuration)you have to look into the driver software at ftp.colorgfx.com/colorgfx unfortunately this site is unaccessible while i am writing this.

so far everything counts for colorgraphic evolution.
