Joachim,
A friend got himself, wife and two kids vaccinated and he knows it was stupid now.
I know you have me on Ignore, so I still have to ask why he thinks it was stupid to get the vaccine in the first place.

What sort of debilitating side effects did he have to suffer as a result of being vaccinated?

What sort of debilitating side effects does he fear now that he and his family are indeed vaccinated?

Did he think that the vaccine would be 100% effective in preventing infection, and that the fact that he got infected anyway means that the vaccine was useless?

Does he currently believe that the vaccine lowered his chances of dying from COVID, or does he no longer believe that?

Everyone's experiences are different. COVID is a numbers game, but when it comes to people's own lives, numbers matter little if they end up rolling snake eyes.
