Miraje, Demagoging the opposing party on an issue that is going to need bipartisan and painful choices in order to fix is political pandering and stupidity at its worst. They don't want to "fix" Social Security. They want to keep it broken in order to use that as a political bludgeoning tool. And yes, I realize that, by wording it that way, I sound like a conspiracy theorist. But in this case, this is effectively how things are playing out, because it's the samo samo. Tenchusatsu
