I understand the need for acquisitions, I just wish it wouldn't beat us back to the stone age everytime the word is mentioned. It's really hard to be a long-term investor when the momentum begins to swing in your direction and then you get whacked. It's somewhat akin to being robbed, walking away thinking, "At least I didn't get killed." and then a bus hits you.
