"I'm in SUNW, SYBS, COMS, EDS, WDC and HWP (not very original, I guess)). I feel there is one dog in there, but I don't know which one :-)"

I'm with you, and if you bought near the time I did, then you've got (or had -- let's see if at least one can come out of the woodwork a strong company) at least a couple in WDC and COMS.

Thomas,

RATL has things to do in terms of a) integrating and streamlining their product portfolio, and also b) cashing in on their position on UML (=getting a full and correct implementation of UML out). If they do, yes an incredible story...

Sounds very likely. OO is already a big factor in the industry, and is not going to go away. When I predict OOT becoming dominant in 5,10, or 15 years that is however an much bigger market. Remember, there are some 3 or 4 million Visual Basic programmers and X million Cobol programmers out there. If they or their successors are "converted" to OO...

My US stock holdings is where my mouth is (OO): I got RATL, SUNW and BORL (through the acquisition of VSGN) and also ODIS. I'm a bit unsure about ODIS, because the OO database market doesn't seem to catch on. BORL looks very interesting right now. Haven't been investing in the US technology market for more than 18 months though, so I'm still looking to find some gems among other companies within this area.
