MEME Connects First Wireless Internet Customer

'Surf the Net Without a Wire'

BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Media Entertainment, Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: MEME - news) announced today that it had placed its first customer onto its proprietary
Wireless Internet Access System, in Baton Rouge, with approximately 30 more customers
awaiting immediate hook-up.

The launch of MEME's proprietary Wireless Internet Access System follows on the heels of
MEME's delivery of its first Wireless DataLink System. ''This has been a break-out couple of
weeks for us, and we are now full-speed ahead,'' said David Loflin, MEME's President. ''Our first
customer is very pleased with our Wireless Internet Access System, and we've got people calling
us to get on-line with us. Even with our limited staff, we expect to be able to hook up about 20
customers a week, which would allow us to reach break-even during the second quarter. That's
one of the great features of our Wireless Internet Access System, it doesn't cost much to build-out
and operate.'' Mr. Loflin also stated that MEME intends to begin its Wireless Internet operations
in other cities, as soon as capital becomes available.

When asked for comment, Mr. Ron Matherne, MEME's first Wireless Internet customer, said,
''This [Wireless Internet Access System] is much faster than anything I've ever used before.'' Mr.
Matherne also noted that he would be saving about 30% on Internet access using MEME's
Wireless Internet Access System compared to the cost of Internet access using the local phone
company's traditional hard-wire system.

Mr. Loflin stated further that he expected that MEME's Wireless Internet customers, and business
customers in particular, would appreciate the system's signal encryption capability, which ensures a
high degree of security of sensitive information. And, Mr. Loflin confirmed, the FCC's
consideration of a proposal to permit per-minute Internet access charges by local phone
companies is underway; even if the charges are not permitted this time, eventually they will be, and
MEME's Wireless Internet service will become that much more attractive to customers.

MEME's proprietary Wireless Internet Access System operates within a broadcast signal in the
900 or 2400 MHZ band using two-way modems outfitted with an antenna. Thus, MEME's
Wireless Internet Access System differs substantially in design from the wireless Internet access
available through cellular telephones and differs substantially from traditional telephone-line based
ISPs, because there is no reliance on hard wire to transfer data, making the local telephone
company no longer necessary for Internet access. In addition, a MEME customer will save,
depending on the particular market, between 35% and 50% for Internet access. MEME is in need
of additional capital to expand the exploitation of its proprietary Wireless Internet Access System.

In addition to MEME's attempts to exploit its proprietary Wireless Access System, MEME
continues to pursue potential customers for its proprietary Wireless DataLink System, which is
designed as a less-maintenance-intensive alternative to traditional hard-wire data transmission
systems.

MEME also owns community (low power) television channels in four U.S. cities, including an
operating channel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The other stations have not yet been constructed.
Without additional capital, no construction of these other stations will occur. MEME also owns the
rights to wireless cable channels in several U.S. cities with MEME's Poplar Bluff, Missouri, system
being ready for operations, pending MEME's obtaining capital to launch initial marketing efforts
there. The other markets have yet to be built-out.
