Henry, >>... positive clinicals for prostate & ovarian cancer<< One would hope that LGND knows the clinicals will be good because they announced at the H &Q breakout session that they intend to continue to advance phase 2 trials in prostate, ovarian, NSCLC {lung}, & breast cancer. They said they will definitely move into an advanced breast cancer indication. This was much more definite than the circumlocution in yesterday's press release which indicated they were studying whether the results warranted starting a phase 2. Bernie.

I would love an onslaught of scientific data showing that LGnd is the Disneyland of biotechs. If people start saying "Hey LGND is like CHIR 4 years ago. They've got numerous drugs that attack different types of diseases. And so far all of them seem to work!" we might see lgnd trading where CHir once was--which was around 125 I think. I can dream, can't I?

MAybe this is lgnd's strategy. Meaning that they want to string success story after success story thus creating a momentum of excitement around the company. All we need is for the street to want to buy a ticket to ride LGND.

You gotta wonder if the people at lgnd are scratching their head in amazement that the stock price is where it's at. Like I've always stated, it back to a wait and see situation. Good news will drive the stock up. No news, and the stock will probably drift down. If it's bad news, and it's back to attacking Andrew and Dingle Barry. just kidding.
