400 mil offering looks like the company may be looking to do a buyback of the 10 or 20 mil shares. nice analyst rating starts coverage on wdc with a buy. stock looks strong.

I was thinking the same thing myself, but hesitated to jump in because I don't know what are standard terms in the convertible market currently. I guess the sticking point is the >>guarantee of principal<<. Who's the guarantor, other than WDC.
