Paul, methinks you have forgotten your previous post! Intel Q1'98 earnings will be said to be "a fluke and unsustainable, the result of accounting tricks".

Some are immune from "proper guidance" :)

What do you base this on? Some people will be buying it, but not everyone initially.

Isn't the rise of the sub $1k pc and it's penetration into untapped markets evidence that this may not necessarily be true???

Don't you think that there will always be a market for 2nd or 3rd generation chips??? Everyone doesn't need a PII 333Mhz to 'surf the web.'
