I can see how it may be a good idea for immunosuppressed people to use masks when there is a potential for exposure. But, I’m not claiming any scientifically proven benefit.

Mandating such use for the entire population is a darn shame. At times, it turned into purely ritualistic behaviors, like in case of woven cloth masks. A joke. Really looks more like obedience training than anything.
