Today I added to KO in the portfolios that held it and had the cash available to invest. KO came in with very solid numbers today and provided very good guidance moving forward.

The reaction from analysts on the Coca-Cola ( KO) has been mostly favorable.

Hargreaves Lansdown analyst Aarin Chiekrie said Coca-Cola ( KO) is showing why it is a global powerhouse and saw underlying strength in the report.

"Despite a cost-of-living crisis to contend with, the group’s exceeded its own guidance by growing full-year organic revenues 16%. Iconic brand power was to thank for this, as loyal customers have kept coming back for more of the group’s infamous fizzy drinks. This meant that despite higher average selling prices, total volumes actually rose by 5% this year."

Coca-Cola's ( KO) diversification with the Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, and recently acquired BodyArmor brands are seen opening new channels of growth even as it weighs on the balance sheet.

Morgan Stanley analyst Dara Mohsenian said KO's EPS guidance lift of a modest 1% at its midpoint should be considered good news in comparison to other other mega-cap peers who have generally been guiding below. Coca-Cola ( KO) is said to appear confident in underlying fundamentals with the FY23 organic sales growth guidance above the long-term algorithm.

Barclays analyst Lauren Lieberman said Coca-Cola ( KO) posted a strong finish to the year on an operational basis, although volume growth in Asia Pacific was called a concern. The firm kept an Overweight rating on KO and price target of $69 following the report.
