Americans are fugly LAZY mostly and entitled feeling... Not really. Yes of course not.. similarly It is a truism like Canadians are all polite.. not at all true.. Been to Toronto.? Montreal ? . you will soon find out :) we have the same problems up here with getting people to work in jobs that they think beneath them.. that is the entitled part and it plays up in my country also ... I see folks come and go at HD like clockwork... These are exactly the folks that would treat my proposal of Universal Basic Income as pogey .. I am fortunate.. my prior experience has advanced me rapidly .. but I have many years of experience and suuccess.. in other employment and as self employed.. Folks want it all that do not have much to give.. even if bright.. they lack experience... so good decision making is dreadfully wanting .. There is a certain type / class ? I dunno.. of person in both our countries that deserves the green text .. There are many of them... We both live in lands of opportunity .... Us is certainly a land of capitalist driven innovation ... (A lesson China NEEDS to comprehend) You cannot innovate by decree... only provide the necessary environment and future possible rewards structure.... and let folks have at it.. There are it seems to me two civilisations in each of our countries... LOL.. imagine folks look down open on trades people.. yet always companion at how much a good electrician or plumber costs.. These folks cost because they have skills.. and make a very good living
