Wharfie, I don't get how your graph is supposed to disprove my assertion that more people are living in densely populated areas.

Looking at the 5-year rolling average, the trend doesn't seem as drastic as you alarmists portray it to be. Seems like since the turn of the millennium, we are averaging one bad year of natural disasters out of every five.

There isn't enough data to conclude whether that trend is accelerating. But you alarmists don't want to wait until there is, because arguably by then it'd be "too late."
