Frank, you're right on the bet. I was looking for a sure thing.
By the way, I worked for Tandem for 13 years before taking "early retirement" at age 51. I had 20,000 shares three months before the takeover and only 2000 left when the announcement came. Av price was 12 1/4. sold most at 14-14 1/2 range. I should have known something was up when Tandem took off the "poison pill" the summer before, then followed by Jim Treybig "stepping aside." I have no puts on Netscape.
Have 50 March calls av. $3.05 and another 1000 shares at 18 1/4.
