>>Huntington Museum and Gardens, in Pasadena<<

What a great place, and an old favorite haunt. I made regular
trips there during one of my L.A. stints with a friend of mine.
We'd start in the museum, pausing always for a bow to the
"Blue Boy".. then go on to the library to soak in the books and
gaze at the really big, old Bible. Then the best, the gardens.
Weaving in and out of them and finally finding a spot where I'd
stretch out in the grass. With writing pad and pen idle at my side,
cap over my eyes, daydreaming.. while the more productive of us
wandered off with pad and pencil, drawing. yep, a great place.
