I don't know where you live, but here in SoCal, the problem has magnified substantially over the past 20 years. One would have to be deaf dumb and blind not to see it with their own eyes. Homeless are everywhere. In the alleys, under bridges, on the sidewalks in front of shops, on the street corners, parking garages, hedgerows,...you name it, they are there.

It is a national shame that we can send 100 billion dollars to a corrupt country like Ukraine in the space of one year and still have the problems we have here with our infrastructure, homelessness and even child hunger. If there is money to blow, then blow it here. Not 5,000 miles away .on a lost cause so we can "weaken Russia" as Blinken has put it.

#me too: I hate to say it's complicated, because I think that's and excuse for not dealing with a problem. But homelessness is an USA problem that we have dealt with ineffectively. As someone said if you want to change the world start with making you bed. I think we have a responsibilty for taking care of what we create. That's why it's so important to not creat a responsibility that we can't attend to. We created our families, friends, country. Taking care of people is more important than taking care of a war; but it's complicated.
