A while back, I listed five armies that are operating more or less as autonomous entities fighting for PooTin:

  • RuZZian regular troops along with "mobliks" from the Ministry of Defense (Sergay's boys)
  • DPR (Donetsk People's Republic) militia and their locally "mobilized" soldiers.
  • LPR (Luhansk People's Republic) militia and their locally "mobilized" soldiers.
  • The Vagner thugs
  • Cuckyrov's TikTok warriors
Now there's a report that the DPR and LPR militias are being integrated into the RuZZian regular army, and that isn't going well:

Meanwhile, the Vagner thugs, the only organization that actually had any measurable success in Ukraine since the Kharkiv and Kherson counteroffensives, are being sabotaged because they're too effective for PooTin's comfort.

And of course, Cuckyrov's TikTok warriors continue to LARP as professional soldiers.

All this to fit into PooTin's stated vision of a mUlTi-pOlAr wOrLd oRdEr, where endless war is normalized, and where RuZZia forever portrays itself as the main opponent to Western nAzIs.

There is simply no way RuZZia can sustain this, other than to follow in the footsteps of North Korea and end up in China's shadow.

For now, PooTin will continue to make unforced errors, all in a completely losing strategy. As long as Zelensky doesn't make any unforced errors of his own, and as long as NATO continues providing him with better and better force multipliers, the war in Ukraine will be a dismal failure for RuZZia.
