Brumar, Trump's reasoning is this. If dialogue "worked" with Kim Jong-Un, it would have also "worked" with PooTin. And of course, if dialogue ended up not working w/ PooTin, he can then just take the isolationist route, throw Ukraine under the bus, pull out of NATO, and wish them all good luck. That isolationist position IS worth discussing, by the way. Unfortunately Trump's ego makes intelligent discussion over that position next to impossible. Tenchusatsu
