One thought I had is that to trade options you need to get very good at Technical Analysis. Fundamental Analysis is good for long term investing but usually isn't as helpful for options because you are more concerned with the short term movement of the stock.

What I'm finding to be fairly good indicators is to look at the stochastics and bollinger Bands. I recommend you pick 1 TA indicator and get good at using it rather than trying to learn all of them at once...ironically even if all of the indicators are saying a stock is going to move a direction it could move another direction seemingly at random. You will never be 100% right using TA but it will give you an edge over just guessing.
