"These people do not get involved in scams and pump-and-dumps despite what the Carls and Vipers of the world might have you believe."

I never said anything like that, despite what the Fulvio's of the world would have you believe.

Fulvio:

Well said! The main reason for my investing and staying with
Crystallex is its management. They have made many promises
and delivered. In the end, that is what counts. On the other hand,
while Placer has been a fine company, they have been involved in
several recent fiascos, not the least of which is now the LC.
This raises a lot of doubt in my mind as to where management of Placer
is going. I don't have a current opinion on Placer, as I am certain
that it will participate in a general gold rally, and no doubt
will do ok in such a market. However, Crystallex is in a potentially
breath-taking growth phase, and it is doing so in the absence of any
help from gold. Can you imagine where the stock would be if we
were back in 1996, when we had a decent precious metals market?

Regards

Dan
