I recently googled Martin Armstrong as I was wondering what his current stock market predictions were. His trading system was coveted a while back and quite a few on Silicon Investor followed him. I ran across an interview where he said that he had been contacted by people in the US government with a job offer. His reply was, "Not interested".

MA mentioned that he thought the financial crisis would start in Europe and move to other countries. Interestingly, Credit Suisse is in the news as being a Globally Systemically Important Bank under stress.

I enjoyed the Kitco interview with Frank Guistra as he anticipates the new global trading currencies to exist along with the current ones which is less bleak than what others predict. He does say he is currently defensive with his investments and gives what is always good advice - look after yourself and your family.

Interesting. So investing in resources stocks that are 100% exploring, developing or producing in Brazil, could be the best hedge against the collapse of western currencies, if this collapse ever happens?
