So far, at least, that trendline has apparently held. But it is tottering on the edge at 3948 right now. I hope I didn't just jinx it! :) re: S&P 500 close to breaking falling trendline from all-time highs around 3935-3940. 200-day moving average is also there as well. Looks stretched to decisively break it today but it's looks likely after the uptrendline recently was broken and follow-thru would call for at least 2% more, bringing the S&P 500 below 3900. ======================================================================== Mike Wilson of MS was on Bloomberg this morning saying that he thinks we could have a good economy over the next year but a bad stock market as earnings will disappoint due to higher inflation.
