I just finished the second season of Bloodlands.

No, I have not gone gore on you guys. Rather, it's a tense thriller set in Northern Ireland, hence the blood is that of secular divisions, of family, of betrayal and broken promises. The always reliable James Nesbitt is the lead actor, playing a detective who has made some bad decisions that entrap him ever deeper. And for this season he has an excellent foil in Victoria Smurfitt, who I usually see in 'nice' roles but makes an excellent femme fatale.

It does seem set up for another season, which I will definitely watch.

I paid for the extensive all day tour of PEI- we are going ALL over (with a special Anne of Green Gables pilgrimage). Since we go there twice- once either way, we are doing tons of stuff. If we really like somewhere we will go back for an extended stay.

screech? You must tell me what this is.
