Actually its Edgar not Charles Bronfman that heads the entertainment unit of Seagram, but the thought was good.
That whole asset deal is quite intriguing considering how much Seagram is giving up in the short term to get Barry Diller as the head, if successful it will be quite the entertainment powerhouse.
Personally I'am confounded how HSN is so successful, the whole thing reeks of fromage to me, but I guess taste is not on everyones lists.
I would love to see MFE to play wet nurse to some of these big US networks and studios as this is how business is done. Sometimes I think the mgmt of MFE expects business to just show up on their front door.

Yeah--I don't know if ALliance was successful in syndicating ReBoot in the US to anyone. It seems to have more interest internationally. BWars should have another season given that it was rated so highly all around the world. I guess they need to decide soon if they want them by summer.

BTW, CR -= congratulations on being the 300th poster on this rapidly shrinking, depressing thread. It looks like we're the only interested people and I imagine this will die out pretty soon if nothing happens very, very soon.
