Florida bill would require bloggers who write about governor to register with the state | WFLA

I think I've written about DeathSantis many times on this forum. Would I need to register with the state, or do they trust that I haven't received any payments for my posts?

And what's the purpose of such a "registry" in the first place? Kind of funny how so-called "conservatives" will resist gun registries all the way to the grave, but when it comes to the right to free speech, they are all for "registries" in order to protect their own Dear Leaders.

Quite a rainy season this year, eh Wharfie?

Half of California freed from drought thanks to rain, snow (msn.com)

Still not enough to free all of California from drought conditions, but the difference between November and today is remarkable:

This plus the huge snowpack this year should help things along, though it's obvious to me that Sacramento won't easily lift the drought status.
