Yeah, hard to get a good fat sub, too. And forget about a good cheesesteak. My wife often asks me to make her cheesesteaks for her birthday.

There is one place here that makes a damned good sub - D Deli in Golden. They don't hold back.

"grinders" and "subs" were the go to lunch for
the numerous Italian-American ship yard workers
at Electric Boat ( General Dynamics ) in New London Ct ..
Half the adult population in my home town worked there ..
